Job Title : Principal Application Developer

Location : Florham Park, NJ

Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Application Developer at our Florham Park, NJ location. Responsibilities: Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop services and client interfaces in modern programming languages. Develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop extensive automated unit and integration tests to enable a state-of-the-art CI pipeline. Develop and extend CI and CD pipeline. Design and set up API infrastructure by working with DevOps and engineers. Design and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems. Design and develop highly available, performant, and cacheable APIs. Develop performant UIs using modern technologies. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: NodeJS; React; JavaScript/Typescript; Angular; Docker; Kubernetes; Redis; MongoDB; PostgreSQL; CI/CD tools, including TFS and Jenkins; Git; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Testing frameworks, including Selenium, Mocha and Cypress; and Monitoring tools, including Splunk and AppDynamics.
